Our Academics
Students at Seaford Senior High School may elect to follow as rigorous an academic schedule as they choose. The academic programs at Seaford Senior High School overlap so that students may design a program that is specific to their needs and goals. Students can choose from an array of academic courses from college-prep to Advanced Placement to prepare them for the college/university of their choosing. Our teachers on the secondary level use the curriculum mapping process to align our content with the Delaware Content Standards, articulate instruction from grades 6 – 12, and coordinate assignments at each grade level. We want our students to have a clear understanding of their career pathways when they enter our high school.

Our Performing Arts Program
The vocal and instrumental music programs, as well as the art program at Seaford Senior High School have earned local, regional, and national recognition for the quality of their work. In addition to chorus, marching band, and concert band, students may elect to participate in jazz band or drama club. These musicians have provided an invigorating flavor to many school and community functions. SHS art students study drawing, sculpture, and painting and participate in numerous shows and competitions. Their successes have been a source of pride for all of us.

Our Extra-Curricular Programs
Students at Seaford Senior High School can choose from a multitude of clubs and organizations to expand their high school experience. The Key Club, Student Government, and NJROTC are three of our largest organizations which provide hours of service to our school and community. Smaller clubs, such as the Technology Student Association, Business and Professionals Association, Spanish Club, Science Olympiad, National Honor Society, and others provide more specific experiences for students.
